How Many Products do you Offer?
What is the Ordering Process? After choosing the item(s) wanted, click CONTACT US and indicate the item, color, quantity, imprint color(s) and imprint location. Indicate any details or comments important to your order such as your special event or need date, if you have a preferred shipping or payment mode, no overruns, etc. |
What is the Production and Delivery Time for Promotional Products? Most suppliers standard production time runs 7 to 10 working days. Many of our supplier partners offer 1, 3 and 5 working day service. Items such as die-cast lapel pins or embroidered emblems can take 4-5 weeks and products manufacturered to custom specs can take even longer.
"Ground" or truck delivery can take up to 5 business days. "Select" shipping service is guaranteed 3-day delivery followed by 2-day and next-day air services. Expedited shipping methods require your approval. We can also supply estimated freight and shipping quotes for you.

What's Next? You'll receive an emailed notice that we received your order along with instructions on how to send us your logo or artwork. Next, you will receive your choice of an emailed or faxed order acknowledgement plus an artproof showing your logo or artwork on your selected item. Order acknowledgments and artproofs are to be returned to us within 24 hours so as not to delay your order or effect your shipdate. Any desired changes or modifications should be noted on the artproof or order acknowledgement as well. |
What About Returns? Claims are to be made within 5 days of receiving your order. If the factory made an error such as printing the wrong color or deviated from the artproof causing mis-spelled ad copy, incorrect telephone, etc., the order will be re-done in an expeditious manner at no charge to you. You'll also receive a Return Authorization number to mark on the shipping carton(s) as a Call Tag will be issued for the shipper to pickup the mis-printed order from your location. Fortunately, errors and returns are rare. If your order was produced according to the emailed or faxed acknowledgement and approved artproof, then no product returns or re-dos will be accepted. |
How are Over and Underruns Handled? Many suppliers reserve the right to ship up to 10% Over or Under the quantity you actually ordered. This is so the suppliers production
and imprinting departments can pull out and discard any item not meeting quality control standards and customers do not end up with items containing a smeared or crooked logo, loose stitching or any other product defect. Allen Advertising's policy is that a maximum of 5% over may be billed and any excess items shipped are yours with our compliments. Some suppliers boast an "Exact Quantity" policy while others incur a surcharge for this. If NO overruns are acceptable, please let us know when you place your order. |
When Will I be Billed? You will not be invoiced nor will your credit card be charged until your order has been produced and shipped to you. New customers orders may require a deposit or valid credit card account be on file. Many customers have Net15 or Net30 Day terms while others opt to pre-pay their order and receive a discount for doing so. |
Artwork and Logo Guidelines We prefer emailed eps, vector artfiles in Adobe Illustrator 11.0 or less version. We can also accept tif, jpeg, PhotoShop eps images and Adobe Acrobat pdf files and we'll have your art converted to eps, vector files for you. First time customers receive FREE art services plus we email you the finished art for your future use.
